Very close to the end of the world in the far South, the province of Chubut gives to the angler the opportunity to catch huge Trout and Salmons in his rivers and lakes. Chubut has a extension of 224.686 square KM, his capital, Rawson city, is 1470 Km. from Buenos Aires and is located in the east side close to the Atlantic Ocean, the fishing zone is in the west, and the nearest airport is in the city of Esquel, 1900 Km. far From Buenos Aires, where you have daily Jet Flights. The weather during the fishing season is in the day around the 20ªC to 30ºC, but in the night the temperature may down to 5ªC to 0ºC, so an extra jacket is very useful. The Fly fishing is made in spring, summer, and autumn with warm temperatures, and the area is located around Lago 5 far from Esquel 280 KM.

Incredible unspoiled lakes and rivers in Patagonia

Our area is located in a very remote part of the Rio Pico, area that until very recently was totally virgin.

You will be fishing and exploring the real Patagonia wilderness.

We have private access to a portion of Rio Pico north of Lake 5 surrounded by 20 smaller lakes that are natural refuges for Rainbow, Brown, Fario, Brook trout, and Salmons.

The fishing waters are pristine and non polluted environment, close to the foothills of the Andes in the deep of the Argentine Patagonia, surrounded by forest and streams full of fish. Here the Fly fishing mode is Catch & Release (we promote a lot this way).


The Fishing: A day sailing in the Andes lakes over deep blue water surrounded by mountains trolling the lure many times deeper than 200 meters is an experience hard to forget, many very big Brown Trout are catches in these waters. In all of Patagonia you can find a grand variety of salmonides but they tend to be separated for obvious reasons such as food, climate and predators. Chubut offers a diversity of alternatives for the practice of fly fishing. We are specialists on where these species are best found in the most pristine, least fished circumstances.

The places we offer have high concentrations of wild trout in their natural ambiances away from human populations and with little or no fishing pressure

Chubut province has 5 major watersheds of rivers and lakes. They incorporate one of the most incredible collections of opportunities for the practice of sport fishing on the planet from November to May.

The entire area is strictly controlled by the Direction of Fishing Continental. The river systems are Futaleufu, Chubut, Corcovado, Rio Pico and Senguer, all offering salmonides wild, natural, and disease free.

A.A. has boats and rafts 4x4 and all the equipment needed for make your fishing trip a good and pleasant experience. We have 3 motor boats, 2 rafts, and many belly boats. for the lakes, four 4x4 pick ups and a 6x6 truck, all with radio and many Indian canoes.

The Season:

The season opens in November 1 and ends in May 1, having a generous six month season. Have important extensions.

The Lodge:

The lodge is in the Pico River, (lake 5, 280km from Esquel) side with more than 20 lakes, all of them plenty of trout (Brown, Rainbow, Fario, Brooke, Lake etc) and Salmon. This is a fishing paradise not discovered yet by tourist, in the far south, and located in the foot hills of the Andes Mountains. Living very few people in the area.

The cabins have all the comfort wanted by the client, with room service laundry etc, and a excellent international and local cuisine, you can taste a typical asado (Barbecue). We have well constructed cabins available, that can accommodate 6 anglers in each one. All come complete with private bath, hot water, heat, electricity, bedding, towels and daily maid service. The cabins are located at the foot of the mountains with lovely views of the lake. Some are separated enough from the others to provide privacy and all have outside tables and seats.

Typical 6 Days, 5 Nights, 4 1/2 Fishing Days packages:

• Day 1: Buenos Aires Airport Reception - Transport to Domestic Airport - Esquel Airport Reception - Transport to the Lodge. Dinner at Lodge
• Day 2 to day 5: Full Breakfast in early morning - Fish - Lunch in the field or Farm House, (Asado, Barbecue) or in the Lodge - The Fishermen have the option, to take a nap. - Fish the afternoon until the sunset - Dinner at Lodge.
• Day 6: Transport to Esquel Airport -Reception in Buenos Aires Airport.
This program can be extended a day or two, or to shorten it one, upon the desires of fishermen

-Upon about the weather and the fishing, is possible in this program, fish in Chile one day, (excellent and incredible area).

On the first day, depending on the arrive hour, the lodge is made in Esquel cabins, and with a dinner in a restaurant. (Avoiding the first day an other trip, and having a rest).
